* Assisting with the development and review of policies and strategies in relation to sustainable transport within the municipality.* Develop, manage and distribute educational and promotional materials that support Councils sustainable transport and road safety strategies.* Assist the Department of Infrastructure, schools and workplaces in implementing TravelSmart programs.The successful applicant will possess a broad understanding of sustainable transport, and in particular the role of Local Government in relation to walking, cycling, public transport and ride share. Library Officer – Acquisitions & Cataloguing

Salary Range: $42,642 – $45,807 (Inc Super) Our Library Services team requires an enthusiastic team player who, aside from desk work and general library routines, will provide effective library administrative support in acquisitions and cataloguing. Selection criteria includes a qualification conferring eligibility for Technician Membership of the ALIA or currently undertaking a postgraduate librarianship; previous experience preferably in a public library; knowledge of other language(s) and culture(s) and an awareness of the diversity of the community; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; competent IT skills including an ability to use Libraries Australia for enquiry and adding holdings; familiarity with Spydus library system, particularly acquisitions, cataloguing and circulation modules. Project Worker – Advocacy
The Disabilty Resources Centre (DRC) has available a 9 month position at 3 days per week to work on access to public transport. The position will resource a new “Public Transport Awareness Watch” Project and be based at the Victorian Council For Social Service (VCOSS).The Project Worker will be an individual with a direct experience of disability and a strong commitment to addressing accessibility issues for people with disabilities. Key selection criteria include knowledge and understanding of disability advocacy, and state and federal policies regarding accessible transport. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills,the ability to work independently , to be self-motivated and show initiative, in addition to working as part of a team. Campaiging, training, mediation and group facilitation skills are required as are computer and report writing skills.
