The Commmunications Manager will relay significant messages both internally and externally as part of our marketing team. Reporting to the Executive Manager Strategic Marketing you will be responsible for producing internal and external communications including online, writing for and maintaining relations with press and media, the annual report, public relations strategies plus special projects as directed. While this role will enjoy reasonable autonomy, you will be an integral part of the marketing team and there will be direction given on specific campaigns. To be successful it will be critical that you have tertiary qualifications in communications and have had experience in developing and implementing major communications and promotional opportunities in a complex environment. The ability to network or you already have a well established media network so as to maximise media opportunities will be highly regarded. It will be essential that you are highly computer literate and have experience in developing and maintaining web sites. Carers SA requires a highly motivated and experienced person with initiative who will lead the Carer Counselling and Advisory Service Team. Carers SA is the peak body representing the lives of family carers. It is a NonProfit community-based organisation. The position nrequires day-to-day management and delivery of a nationally funded Carer specific counselling, info and advisory service. This is an expanded position that enablkes a state-wide, streamlined and integrated service for family carers. The position also provides opportunities to work as part of the National Network of Carers Associations – Carers Australia.
