What are the main compliance problems asks the Office of Small Business?
Barb Gabogrecan of www.micronavigator.com has let us know that the state government is doing a survey to find out the main compliance problems ‘start up’ businesses (or businesses moving from interstate into Victoria) have to contend with. If you have recently started a business (ideally in the last 12 months) or moved your business from interstate, then they may wish to talk to you.
Barb says it how it is, that there is way too much compliance in business and we have all experienced frustration – well now there is a chance in Victoria for small/micro business to have a say in what can be done to lessen this burden.
The survey will be undertaken by meeting with you, or by phone, and should not take more than half an hour. You will be presented with a ‘thank you’ gift at the conclusion.
If you’re interested in taking part email Barb (barbara@micronavigator.com.au). Give her the name of your business; where it originated and how long you have been in business, and she will pass your details on. Your information will be kept confidential.
How is it in other states? Heaps of compliance requirements? Will a survey actually lead to any improvements?
