Reporting to the Operations Manager your key areas of responsibily will be • Taking a lead role in implementing and coordinating a counselling model for a Suicide Helpline Call Back Service • Oversee the service mapping of the project • Developing relationships with service providers with an aim to developing a referral facilitation • Developing assessment tools • Assisting with the development of E-learning CD-Rom tool for Carers and Consumers • Assisting with the development and implementation of caller database and ensuring the effectiveness of data collection • Liaising with the internal training coordinator to identify training needs of service The successful applicant will have proven experience in project coordination in a health setting and tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Health Sciences or similar. Experience in telephone counselling is also an essential requirement for the role. An understanding of suicide and related issues is highly desirable. In this role you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, data entry, processing of donations, preparing monthly reports and coordinating the Heart Sunday Memorial Service. It is essential that applicants are highly organised, proficient in Microsoft Word and possess strong mail merge skills. Experience in fundraising or customer service would be highly desirable.
