‘Big business’ goals at Melbourne Sustainability Forum

Sustainability Forum – $35 including morning tea & lunch – at the Melbourne Business School, Carlton, will focus on global warming and its part in sustainability.

Four organisations will present the steps they’ve taken towards sustainability:

1. South East Water Limited Kate Vinot, General Manager, Customer Service.
2. ANZ Bank Gerard Brown, Group General Manager, Corporate Affairs & Investor Relations.
3.National Australia Bank Rosemary Bissett, Group Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility.
4.Melbourne Business School Richard Searle, Program Director, Mt Eliza Centre for Executive Education.

Speakers will examine why sustainability is vital and look at:

• how you can make it an integral part of your organisation;
• its significance in developing new models to transform organisations;
• how to enhance corporate social responsibility.

Each speaker will present their organisation’s current and future plans on sustainability, followed by a Q&A session and a workshop on the action plans and outcomes businesses should consider to establish their role in leading global sustainability. The Melbourne Business School’s Robert Burke will compere the Forum.
