About The Theatre Of The Oppressed
The Theatre of the Oppressed is a framework through which individuals can create spaces for equitable and democratic participation through critically exploring how oppression is maintained and how communities can work out strategies for change, through creative investigation.
The techniques that will be introduced to participants were developed by Augusto Boal and are presented in his book Aesthetics of the Oppressed.
